I’ve been tracking a site that ranks NFL teams (among other sports) for a little while.  The Beatpath ranking system consists of graphing results of every game, removing ambiguous information, and producing a final graph.  From this graph, additional ranking information is applied and a final list of teams emerges, with the (hopefully) strongest teams on top.

Yesterday, the site owner put out a Call For Volunteers, which greatly intruiged me.  I’ve been playing around on my own with the Beatpaths concept, trying to apply it to my fantasy football league.  It’s fairly interesting, though I think that the 12 teams in my league might be a little small for this system.  Anyway, I answered the call and I’ll have to wait and see if there is any interest in the site for my input, either on the content or backend coding.
